If regular blogs don't satisfy your voyeurism, consider exploring videoblogs. Videoblogging, the act of posting short video content within a blog, is the latest new Internet trend. In fact,
videobloggers (and fans, such as us) from all over the world showed up or tuned in online to Vloggercon, the first videoblogging conference, held recently in New York City. Topics addressed included the use of video for peer-to-peer storytelling, news gathering and expression, and whether there is money to be made from videoblogging.

One of the most interesting videoblogging applications shared was College Humor co-founder Jakob Lodwick Vimeo www.vimeo.com, a site for organizing and watching video clips. Site visitors can choose clips from specific time periods, a list of keywords, and then choose a soundtrack from a selection of songs; while at press time, visitors cannot add their own clips, they will soon be able to do so.

Other notable videobloggers in attendance included:
www.dylanverdi.blogspot.com
www.momentshowing.typepad.com

So, you may want to start upping your bandwidth now, as we expect 2005 to become the year that videoblogging becomes a large player in the online media community.
