. According to consumer surveys, the preferred DMB feature among respondents would be a DMB-capable cellular handset, and the favored broadcasting service would be the re-transmission of terrestrial TV programs.
. Key financial issues for the Korean DMB market are the questions of: (a) optimal capital investment levels to achieve adequate service coverage for Terrestrial DMB and Satellite DMB services; and (b) appropriate profit models, with respect to advertising-supported vs. subscription services.
