On the Go Album: EMI and the UK’s biggest mobile communications retailer, The Carphone Warehouse, have teamed up to offer the first full album on a memory card. UK artist Robbie Williams has released his latest album, Robbie Williams Greatest Hits, plus video content, on a tiny stamp-sized gadget that slides into the user’s mobile phone, allowing them to listen to Williams and see videos on their mobile.

Billboard ratings: By collecting information from major ringtone distributors and wireless carriers, Billboard is creating a Hot Ringtones chart. Including song title, artist, previous week’s position and number of weeks on the chart, Billboard will list the top 20 polyphonic ringtone sales for each week. The chart will debut in the November 6th issue.
